The Brother's Line

The phone rings and your brother says the thing. Every good answer has two beats — meet him, then move him — and there is no clock. Every answer opens the card: the response by name, both beats, the full move, what never to say.

Train the ear, not the script. There is no clock — on the real call there isn't one either; your presence is the answer arriving. Your time is noted on each card as information, never as judgment. No leaderboard lives here and none should. And one thing outranks the drill entirely: if a real brother is in danger tonight, put this down and make the real call — brother, priest, and if there is immediate danger, emergency help.
